'An Absent Howl' is Graeme's visual response to the decision to abandon living in the metropolitan bubble of southwest London and seek a new life in The North.
On Tuesday 4 September, from 7-9pm Graeme and Julia will host a special event at the cornerHOUSE where guests will have the opportunity to see a short film in which Graeme discusses his work. If you would like to come and meet Graeme and see his latest work, you are very welcome.
The exhibition runs from Sunday 2 September until Saturday 6 October and the exhibition will be on display when the venue is open or by special arrangement. Please see the cornerHouse website for opening times. Work from Vales of memory and imagination and earlier collections will also be on display.
The cornerHOUSE is a community arts centre in Surbiton. Created in 1995 it is run entirely by volunteers and they offer drama, comedy, music and more, with in-house productions, resident companies, local and professional drama companies, and some of the UK’s finest comedians all providing the entertainment every month. They host classes, workshops, after-school clubs and other educational and artistic activities. They also have exhibitions from some of the best local artists and photographers, and a monthly film club where you can see everything from classic movies to the latest independent hits.
