Thanks to everyone that came to the second night of Seven by Seven at Inkwell. Another great night! Brilliant sets! Huge apologies to people that came along with records and didn't get to play them - we're still finding our feet, and it is first come first served. So stick with us and get there early to get your name down next time!

Sculpture project - seeking collaboration!

Sculpture project - seeking collaboration!
I am seeking help with a sculpture project. I am based in Leeds and wish to work collaboratively with a local sculptor/metalworker on a private commission to design, fabricate and install a piece of work for the garden of a new build house in East London.

Tooting Bec Lido to Phil's house - new film
We've loaded a new film up on YouTube. This was originally shown to a handful of people at the Wandsworth Open House thing in October 2017. It would definitely be a Zokko! Score 10!

Thanks for coming to meet the artist!

I want to say a massive thank you to everyone that came along to the Cornerhouse on Tuesday 4 September for the "Meet the Artist" event for my exhibition "An Absent Howl". To me this felt like the most important and successful public thing that I've done with my art so far.

Greyswood Times #3 is now available

The wait is over. The new issue of Greyswood Times is now available. This issue coincides with Graeme's current exhibition of work - An Absent Howl. The book explores themes of absence and departure. As well as Graeme's work it includes contributions from many other artists, poets, photographers and writers.

An Absent Howl

An Absent Howl

We are delighted to announce that Graeme has an new exhibition at the cornerHOUSE community arts centre in Surbiton

'An Absent Howl' is Graeme's visual response to the decision to abandon living in the metropolitan bubble of southwest London and seek a new life in The North.

Measuring up for Brixton

Measuring up for Brixton

Here's Julia and me the other day - measuring up our pitch on Josephine Avenue for the Brixton Urban Art Fair on 14-15 July. We're getting very excited about this now - but what a lot of fence we've got to fill!

Thank you to everyone who came to the private viewing

Thank you to everyone who came to the private viewing
The evening of the private view was beautiful and sunny in Furzedown and we were able to spill onto the street outside for much needed chilled refreshments.

What are the vales of memory and imagination?

Graeme Armstrong old personnel card
In April 1986 I accepted a posting overseas and left the UK to see a bit more of the world. It was a pivotal time and one of mixed feelings – of regret over how my personal life had played out during the past year, and excitement and anticipation over the new horizons that faced me. I joked at the time that it was like joining the foreign legion.
